Gallery on the Grid
Gallery on the Grid demonstrates an exciting new application of the Access Grid. Over the Access Grid, groups of visitors at sites across the country can interact with both the art works and with each other through numerous digital video streams, audio, and various input methods. The art works also have an integrated virtual reality component which can be viewed with stereo glasses on an ImmersaDesk.

HiPArt is an outreach program coordinated by the Scientific Computing and Visualization group at Boston University fostering a collaboration between software developers and artists and making high performance computing, networking, and graphics resources available to the art community. HiPArt's previous projects include the popular Spirited Ruins and ArtWorld.
