I have reordered the names from the current solution page as Susan did at least 90% of the work on this one with the rest of us having minor contributions. Written for the 2022 MIT Mystery Hunt. Say Cheese and Smile for the Camera by Susan Glass and Aaron Fuegi. Written in 2023 for Alan Frank's annual treasure hunt; the theme was Cheese this year. The final answer is a word or phrase cluing a place or object in the house. The solution is also available. This puzzle was the first grid puzzle we have ever done and breaks some NYT rules.

Note that the first 4x4 box of the first part of the puzzle requires a bit of local (specifically Arlington, MA and Somerville, MA) knowledge but you should be able to work around that with no problem. The solution is also available as well as three hints of increasing helpfulness (Hint 1, Hint 2, and Hint 3). Feel free to use Hints 1 and 2; the third Hint is a quite strong hint for the main Aha.
