    NAIROBI (Reuters) - Kenya's shilling strengthened past 92 to the dollar to trade at 91.60 on Friday, a level last seen in August, extending earlier gains as traders had predicted, due to commercial banks trimming their U.S. currency positions. The shilling closed at 92.40/60 to the dollar on Thursday.
