Lesson Plan 25
Final Project Presentation
Lesson Title |
Final Project Presentation and Open House |
Duration |
1 class (1.5 hours) |
Synopsis |
Presentation of Virtual Reality artwork. Presentation and discussion of class experience. |
Description of Class |
Classmates, friends, family, instructors, and other colleagues are invited to an Open House, to view the students’ work and hear about the students’ experience in the class.
If Access Grid or other remote video conferencing technology is available, students may share their work with those at other locations as well as those in the classroom. This not only enlarges the audience for the students’ presentations, but also gives them experience with technologies that will continue to grow in the twenty-first century workplace and home.
Students present the artwork they have created in the Virtual Reality environment, explaining the technical, artistic, and cultural background for the work. Students also may present PowerPoint slides, discussing their experience of the class and impressions of computing.
This class allows the students to reflect on what they’ve learned over the course of the year, and to practice their presentation skills. |
