Description

• hello.c - A hello-world OpenMP C program.
• hello.f90 - A hello-world OpenMP Fortran 90 program.
• job.hello - A batch job script to run OpenMP program.

Usage

To compile OpenMP C or Fortran codes,

gcc -fopenmp hello.c -o hello

gfortran -fopenmp hello.f90 -o hello

To run the program at background using 4 threads,

export OMP_NUM_THREADS=4

./hello

To submit a batch job to run the program at background,

qsub job.hello
