Ribbons

In order to display "twist" information in a vector field, we need to use something which gives more local frame than a tube can. One method for doing this is to think of two particles as a pair joined by a line segment, and look at the "ribbon" which that line segment sweeps out.

Here is a ribbon display of our vector filed, colored by the scalar values.
