Visualization Gallery
Many of the projects carried out by members of the Boston University research community involve computer graphics, ranging from simple plots to complex animations. The projects described here involve a significant graphics component, used for exploration and understanding of the work in progress, as well as for presentation.
Many of the projects described here included the production of a video segment by members of the Scientific Computing and Visualization Group. Many included extensive consulting, production, and/or custom programming by SCV staff members, as well.
To see a description and selected images from any of the visualizations, click on the piece below. For some projects, you can view short video sequences by clicking on the image for the particular sequence you wish to see. Static images can also be seen at their full-size by clicking on the individual image.
Projects are listed in the order they were added to the Gallery, with the more recent projects shown towards the top of the page.
