Artist's Statement:
This piece is a visual explanation of how the designs of Frank Lloyd Wright and tango, the dance, describe the same space.
Participating in the Spirited Ruins project in which "[a mysterious culture] believed that by producing objects and environments in just the right form and proportion, life would spontaneously enter their creations" was my opportunity to demonstrate the relationship that I discovered between the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and the tango.
I wish to thank Russell Jackson for introducing me to the Tango and the space it describes through his brilliant choreography and teaching. I would also like to thank him for the choreography of this piece.
Technical Description:
This piece exists entirely in virtual space.
