"Approaching and Leaving Metastability"
I will discuss the approach to metastable equilibrium in the Ising Model
using a cluster representation and find that the system is still
changing at the microscopic level even after the mean values of various
global quantities have ceased to change. I then will discuss the nature
of nucleation in both Ising Models and supercooled Lennard-Jones liquids.
