Hi all,

On behalf of the Spirited Ruins team at SCV, I would like to thank all
the artists for their efforts and beautiful creations. Most everything
ran miraculously well for almost 2 hours, including VR to real world
(and
back) communication, telephony to our friends in Washington, and video
texture mapping. Those people who did get a chance to see everything
were in awe. I regret that many of you did not get to fully experience
what you helped to create as we were cursed with popularity and a
lack of experience in crowd control. We would like to address that by
inviting you all in for a more leisurely demo on a date to be determined

later.

We plan to continue the Spirited Ruins adventure with some demos coming
up in October and November (and beyond). For now, we are going to hold
off
adding anything new, while we work on stabilizing the code and
finishing the agents.

The web-pages are updated with your statements about your
work, and include photographs  of the physical sculptures and
screenshots of the virtual ones.

I hope this has been a rewarding experience for everyone and that
you continue to stay interested in exploring virtual space.
