Subject: Exhibition Space Update

Hi Everyone,

I have some updates on the exhibition space for the physical sculptures.
The Photonics Center is looking forward to working with us and letting
us exhibit the physical sculptures in their space. We will be able to
use the Atrium and East Lounge (the glass walled room looking east) at
the Photonics Center that many of us visited during our last meeting. We
will be able to use the Colloquium room (the large room) for the reception
the night of the 15th. It will not be available for the number of days
that we would need it for set up so we can not use it for sculptures.

The Directors at the Photonics Center have given some feedback about
audio and liquid. Since the reception will be after business hours
they are not concerned with audio or sound effects that the sculptures
output during the reception. However, during the day, they request
that headphones are used or that we turn off the audio. Regarding
liquid, they request that it does not leak or smell (being familiar
with light, they know that milk makes an excellent projection surface).
And, of course, since they are the Photonics Center they particularly
appreciate any "light" solutions (not that they are really encouraging
us to use milk in them).

They have also invited us to keep the sculptures installed for the week
following our event for the annual Photonics Symposium that they will
be hosting.

We are looking forward to receiving your proposals for your virtual and
or physical pieces on Tuesday, July 6. We will review them next week.

Please plan to come here the following Tuesday, July 13 6:00pm - 9:00pm
to go over the big plan with the entire group. In the mean time, if you
have any questions please let us know.

Have a nice holiday!
